Malibu Boats and Axis Wake Research kicked off with their Model Year 2019 Dealer Principal Meeting in Knoxville, Tennessee. Close to 100 dealer principals came to our backyard to learn about Malibu’s latest and greatest new products and technology and gain valuable marketing knowledge as well as spent time with our staff, suppliers, and athletes.

The Model Year 2019 Dealer Principal Meeting began Sunday evening with a welcome reception and dinner to celebrate a stellar 2018. Monday morning kicked off by an inspiring and informative address from Keynote speaker and CEO, Jack Springer, who spoke of how one can, as Tim McGraw coined, “live like you were dying.” Dealers also got the run down for the 2019 Models highlighting the new, innovative features and upgrades to the boats. In the afternoon, the dealers got to head down to Knoxville’s Volunteer Landing Marina to have on water demos with the athletes as well as ask any and every question to our engineers. Dealers also had a variety of breakout sessions informing them of effective and new marketing tactics, an in-depth look at how to get ahead in the digital marketing world, content creation with your iPhone, and gaining best practices all led by Malibu sales and marketing staff and industry partners. Tuesday our dealers had a special opportunity to come to our manufacturing facility to tour and see all the major advances that Malibu has made within the last year.
