The new TXi inherits the name of its predecessor, and like that 10-time world record holder, it has already delivered all-time best performances.
In fact, the second generation TXi recently pulled Malibu Pro Regina Jacquess to a world record in tournament competition, running three-and-a-half buoys at 41-off.
Though engineered for pros, the new TXi is an ideal boat for waterskiers of any skill level. That’s because the three-finned T-Cut Diamond Hull—backed with lifetime warranty coverage—creates ultra-soft and flat wakes that enable skiers to easily gain direction across the course, while laser-like tracking and precision handling ensure consistency in slalom, trick and jumping at tournament speeds.
New for this year, the TXi has been built with Advanced Rudder Control—adjust the steering load and drive ski courses with the utmost consistency.
Like all Malibu boats sold in the United States, the TXi is handcrafted in Loudon, Tenn., with unsurpassed American engineering and industry-leading waterskiing technology.
The 2018 Response TXi is available with a traditional five-person European closed bow and the contemporary seven-person open bow with front lounge seating for two. For added luxury and performance, both bow options are available in the premium Malibu Open Edition.
Blending function with renowned Malibu luxury and bold styling, the TXi comes equipped with an ISOTTA steering wheel, acrylic walk-through windscreen, dry storage with a USB charging port, side combing pads with storage beneath and billet aluminum grab handles, folding ski racks and storage compartment lids.
The TXi Malibu Open Edition is a premium upgrade featuring an exclusive electronic dash with a 7-inch touchpad for the stereo and other boat operations, plus integrated Zero Off 3-event speed control with a 4.5-inch screen.
